1.Type "services" in the cortana search bar.

2. On the top of the menu "services" app will appear, click on it.

3. Services app will open and will display a list of services.

4. Find "Windows update" in the list.

5. Right click on the "Windows update" option and select "properties".

6. A new dialog box will appear.

7. Select the drop down menu and click on "disable"

8. Now click "Apply" at the bottom.
